What does the shipping fee cover?

  • A puppy shipping service specialist will take care of your puppy from the time we pick them up from their birth home until the time they arrive at the departing airport.
  • Your puppy will be provided with a brand new puppy carrier with some absorbent material to provide comfort for the puppy, and a small food and water dish.
  • The pet carriers used are airline approved kennels.
  • The Puppy Shipping Service has been developed to make certain that every possible detail is covered when providing transportation of a dog. Once you have chosen your new family member you want to be certain that they arrive safely into you and your family’s loving arms. The goal is to provide you with the best experience when adopting your pet. We know patience is limited when you are waiting to meet the newest member of your family so we strive to make your shipping experience quick and easy.

-Pickup Option
🏡 Personal Pickup: You are welcome to visit us Monday through Saturday, 8 AM – 5 PM to pick up your puppy in person. A refundable $300 reservation deposit is required before your visit.

✈️ Delivery Options:  Pet Courier Service: We work with trusted Professional Pet Couriers to transport your puppy with care.
📍 Flexible Timing: Depending on your location, you may receive your puppy the same day, next day, or within 72 hours. 
⚡ Express Delivery: Expedited delivery options are available upon request.

Our Step-by-Step Delivery Process 

 

1. Discover and Reserve Your Perfect Puppy

Start by exploring our selection of adorable Dachshund puppies, each with a detailed profile showcasing their personality, temperament, and coat type. Once you find the perfect match, reserving your puppy is simple and secure. We’ll handle all the paperwork, making the process smooth and stress-free so you can focus on welcoming your new furry friend home!

 

Ownership Transfer and Responsibilities

Ownership of your new puppy is officially transferred to you upon handover. If, for any reason, you are unable to receive your puppy at the scheduled time, the adoption contract will be voided, and you will receive a full refund. Once your puppy is in your care, it becomes your responsibility to ensure they are loved, nurtured, and well cared for.

 

2. Health Preparation and Care

Before your puppy begins their journey home, a licensed veterinarian conducts a thorough health examination to ensure they are healthy and ready to travel. Each puppy receives:

  • Vaccinated
  • Dewormed
  • Microchipped for identification and safety.

We also provide a health certificate confirming your puppy’s excellent condition, giving you peace of mind that your new furry friend is healthy and ready to join your family.

 

 

3. Choosing the Right Delivery Option

Delivery & Shipping Options

We do not allow puppies to be shipped in cargo. While we haven’t had any major issues in the past, we want to ensure our puppies are always in safe hands. Instead, we offer several alternative delivery options to make sure your new furry friend arrives safely and comfortably.

-Personal Delivery
Doris and I can personally drive your puppy to you at a rate of $1.00 per mile roundtrip. In most cases, we meet at a public location in your town rather than delivering to your front door.

-Personal Flight Delivery 
If you prefer, Doris and I can fly with your puppy in cabin to an airport of your choice. The cost will depend on flight prices at the time of booking, and we can discuss details to find the best option for you.

-Flight Nanny Service 
We also work with a licensed flight nanny who will fly with your puppy in cabin to your nearest airport. Prices typically range from $300–$700, but we’ll confirm the exact cost at the time of booking.

-Airport Pickup (IAH)
If you’d like to fly in to pick up your puppy, we can meet you at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) free of charge. You’ll be responsible for your own flight arrangements and an airline-approved pet carrier. Be sure to check with us before booking, as some airlines do not allow pets in the cabin.

-Meeting Halfway 
If you’re driving to pick up your puppy, we’re happy to meet within an hour of our location free of charge. Just ask, and we’ll find a convenient spot!

-Important Note About Flying & Diet 
If your puppy will be flying, you’ll need to order at least one batch of their raw diet in advance. Since it must stay frozen, we can’t send it along on flights due to airline regulations. Having the raw diet ready when your puppy arrives will help with a smooth transition.

4. Shipment Day Protocol

Before your puppy is shipped, we record a video to show that they are healthy, happy, and ready for their new home. The video will include:

  • Teeth
  • Ears
  • Eyes
  • Coat condition

If you choose to pick up your puppy in person, you’ll be able to meet them, check their health, and ask any questions before bringing your new furry friend home.
